Capacity Building Training on Techno-Commercial Feasibility for Wind Energy in Nay Pyi Taw

Infra Capital Myanmar, InfraCo Asia’s Myanmar Developer Team, brought together over 30 participants from several departments across the Ministry of Energy and Electricity in Myanmar for a Capacity Building Training on Techno-Commercial Feasibility for Wind Energy in Nay Pyi Taw, from 11-15 March 2019. Over the course of five days, attendees participated in sessions covering multiple topics on wind power development, including wind resource assessment and site selection, turbine technology, transport and logistics, environmental and social risks and mitigants, construction and maintenance, and project finance. Additionally, participants learned the nuances of tariff structuring with a live model designed specifically for the training programme. The Private Infrastructure Development Group.
